When I received a phone call asking for help with the completion of a tender document I jumped at the chance.
The organisation in question needed to complete an on-line tender and wanted to ensure they had everything ‘just right’ before hitting the submission button. As they were a bit concerned about their typing skills they opted to have the answers typed into a Word document so that they could cut and paste them directly into the tender. They also needed to check that they did not exceed the recommended word count.
Now this may sound very straightforward to those of us that use Microsoft Word every day and can type at X words per minute – but spare a thought for those that aren’t as keyboard savvy!
